    For those of you who know "Blue Monday" as nothing more than a wicked New Order tune, here's a fun factoid: The term also refers to the third Monday in January (that's today, people), which has been deemed the most depressing day of the year because of its lack of daylight combined with the fact that, well, it's Monday. In other words: If ever there were a day to hide under the duvet and shut out the world, this is it.

    But, that's hardly keeping the British "keep calm and carry on" spirit alive, is it now? Though we hate to deprive you of the opportunity to pull a sickie and spend the day sobbing into a tin of Quality Street, we're determined to not let this miserable day get the better of us — or you.
