Local artist Scott Hammel is showing his newest work, dubbed "Gutter Glitter," to the fashion crowd this weekend with an exhibit opening bash at awesome Hayes Valley men's shop, Welcome Stranger. The new, extra-girly (but sort of creepy) images include collages created with rip-outs from beauty magazines mashed up with pictures of food and pets. It's perhaps the perfect way to ease into the weekend: Weird art, a little shopping, and, of course, free booze.
