William and Kate have officially arrived in New York City. They've checked into The Carlyle, dined with an intimate group of business moguls (and reportedly raised over $2 million for their charity), and will spend tonight watching the Brooklyn Nets take on the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Barclays Center (where we can only hope they'll sit courtside next to the king and queen of New York, Jay Z and Beyoncé). Will and Kate may only have three short days in the Big Apple, but boy, are they packing it all in.
It's not the first time, however, that New York has witnessed a British invasion of this caliber — from Princess Diana's frequent lunches at the Four Seasons to newly proclaimed hipster Princess Eugenie relocating to the concrete jungle.
