Phthalates, parabens, sulfates...GMOs? Is it us, or does beauty shopping seem to require a chemistry degree these days? We're all about getting responsible with our beauty picks, but we don't want to have to rely on crunchy-granola beauty products that are less effective than our regular product picks (or worse, smell like a health food store).
After this story got us all freaked out over phthalates (common chemicals added to cosmetics, household cleaners, and even sex toys) and their potential effect on our hormones, we decided to do some research and see what was actually out there for consumers interested in phthalate-free products. Pretty, safe, and effective? We'd say that these products are a win-win, whether you're looking for the perfect all-natch lipstick or chemical-free cleansing face wipes.
