Peaches Geldof, Amanda Peet, Devon Aoki and More Love Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti

As you probably already know, Peaches Geldof recently split from her hubby Max Drummey and found a new rockstar love: Donald Cummings from The Virgins. Alas, when she bounded into Eyebeam for Philosophy's half-presentation, half-runway show last night, the Ryan McGinley-approved singer was sadly absent. But there were plenty of other celebrities there to make up for it, including Amanda Peet, Carine Roitfeld, Poppy Delevigne, Joe Zee, Devon Aoki, and Olivia Palermo, who apologized in the sweetest voice when she accidentally bumped into us. And because the event was so crowded, there was certainly plenty of bumping going on, so much so that we almost didn't get to see the clothes. But what we did see left us a little confounded: Knit arm warmers, really? We love Philosophy for her pretty, floaty, feminine dresses, and there was some of that, but they were more often than not layered over skinny pants and topped off with metallic calf-length jackets for a look that was neither here nor there. Skirts, on the other hand, were done up in dusty hues and looked pieced together or confusingly tied in ribbon. But we have a feeling that the crowd was much more occupied with Champagning and schmoozing to really pay attention to the show, any way.
