The L.A. Times is reporting that the director of the Oscars is seriously contemplating moving the Academy Awards from the end of February 2011 to the beginning of the month or even January. While the reason is to try and get as much viewership as possible, we who bridge the two worlds of fashion and entertainment know this just means one thing: There will be a huge hole in the front seats where Oscar attendees like Carey Mulligan, Heidi Klum, and Jennifer Garner used to sit.
