Recently, we challenged you, amateur nail artists hiding among the Refinery29 readership, to grab your brushes and polishes and show us exactly how skilled you are. Well, pat yourselves on the back, because you exceeded even our super-high expectations. The only sad part of flipping through your amazing Instagram submissions was knowing we could only pick 18 of you to compete in our Nail Art Nation contest. Rough.

But, now, the really fun part starts. Using complete kits filled with Revlon's stunning Nail Art Collection polishes, those 18 skilled readers will compete in a series of increasingly complex challenges. And, though we'll be posting the best nail-art entries along the way, this isn't just a spectator sport. At our Nail Art Nation homepage, you'll be able to vote for your favorite designers and sway our choice of who wins a trip to NYC to film a how-to video here at Refinery29.
