Vintage Vixen! A Filmmaker's Secrets For Turning Up The Glamour

liz-embed Is there anything that filmmaker/media scion/fashion authority Liz Goldwyn hasn't accomplished? From helping to found the fashion department at Sotheby's in New York, to launching her own jewelry line, to writing and directing multiple short films and documentaries, it seems that there's no end to the creative power of this Hollywood heiress and self-described glamazon.

Although Goldwyn is an influencer across many industries, the beauty world is near and dear to her heart, as she tells style site The Aesthete. A onetime global consultant for Shiseido, Goldwyn has carefully honed her beauty look over the years — thanks in part to bosom buddy Dita Von Teese, who helped Goldwyn master hot rollers and a cat eye.

A connoisseur of red lips and matching crimson nails, Goldwyn also appreciates the power of weepingly gorgeous lingerie. Says Goldwyn: “I love waking up in a peachy cream or pale blue 1920s or ’30s nightgown. Even if I have shadows under my eyes or my skin looks sallow, I have a Snow White moment, complete with blue sky and chirping birds.” For all of her love of glamour, however, her skin care routine is surprisingly down-to-earth; she relies on a homemade mix of greek yogurt and honey masks to get her glowing before big events.
