I have the shortest hair in the beauty department. In fact, I've had short hair for about a decade, minus one ill-advised year of growing it out, dyeing it every color under the sun, and then buzzing the broken/fried strands completely off and starting over. Because of my extensive experience with a variety of short cuts (from a pixie to a mohawk-thing and literally everything in between), I like to think I know my way around a tub of pomade.
Of course, while pomade is definitely key, short hair is far from low maintenance. Styling it is actually somewhat of an art form, as having less hair means that mess-ups are more noticeable. On the flip side, there is so much you can do with short hair — if you have the right products.
