Ladies Who Lens: Watch Miu Miu’s Next “Women’s Tales” Trailer

Update: We've finally caught the completed "It's Getting Late" short, and...no disappointments here! See the entire film below — haunting Zola Jesus performance included — and the remainder of the Miu Miu "Women's Tales" films in their entirety in the pages ahead.
Fashion is art — there is no question about it — but Miu Miu takes the whole thing to the next level with its newest addition to the Women's Tales short film series. "It's Getting Late," directed by Massy Tadjedin, is the series' fourth installment, and the trailer is a total tease.
Debuting today, August 30, as part of this year's Venice Film Festival, the short features several women (and familiar on-screen faces) preparing for a night out in Hollywood, set to the haunting music of Zola Jesus, and, naturally, featuring lots of Miu Miu eye candy.

Tadjedin joins film series contemporaries Zoe Cassavetes ("The Powder Room"), Lucrecia Martel ("Muta"), and Giada Colagrande ("The Woman Dress"), whose works can all be seen online. "It's Getting Late" will showcase highlights from the Miu Miu collection, including swoon-worthy sunglasses, accessories, and RTW pieces that not only accelerate our excitement for #FashionMonth, but also function as plot devices, according to the Women's Tales blog.
Check out the trailer for "It's Getting Late" and let us know what you think. Apart from the massive pangs of hair envy you're probably feeling right about now.
