The days of sheer tanks, short shorts, and a smear of red lipstick seem to be here already, but if you've peeked ahead at the forecast, we don't seem to have left chilly days behind just yet. We've all been guilty of attempting a too-early transition to hot-weather habits (sandals and iced-coffee after the first semi-warm weekend in March anyone?), but don't punish yourself unnecessarily! There's no reason why you can't enjoy some of the pleasures of impending spring while still keeping yourself bundled-up enough to survive to see the real thing. Take a cue from this lovely style-setter we met in Paris; Pair a thin, silk top and short trousers with a cropped leather jacket and those trusty combat boots. Bring along a light cardigan just in case (kept in your carry-all, of course), and you'll be ready for whatever Mother Nature has to throw at you.
