But, as much as we envy those DIY enthusiasts with thimbles permanently affixed to their fingers, we don't all posses Project Runway-worthy tailoring skills — or even space for a sewing machine. So, sometimes our creations come out a little less designer-esque than desired.
Lucky for the more entry-level crafters in the bunch, DIY blogger Geneva of A Pair & A Spare has mastered a simple how-to for whipping up a Proenza Schouler-inspired wrap skirt. How simple, you ask? One rectangle of brocade fabric and two snaps — no sewing machine required. Bonus: While it's extra-easy to do, the edgy, structural shape means that the final product looks anything but homemade.
