Watch & Learn: How To Do Your Makeup In 5 Minutes

Ever forget to set your alarm? Or, worse, hit snooze three times and then wake up feeling refreshed, only to realize you're two hours late for work and missed your first three meetings of the day? Yep, me, too. That's why we've put our hearts and souls into mastering the art of doing makeup in five minutes or less — without looking like hot messes. To help us do so, we recruited the inimitable Pixiwoo, the makeup-artist sisters who have made a killing on YouTube. Sam and Nic, as they're known to their loyal fans, were showing us their new makeup brushes, and we asked them if they might be up for the challenge. Since they're London-based, though, we needed to Skype them in for the occasion, which inspired us to do more video-chat beauty sessions. This is the first installment of a series called Face Time, in which we'll recruit YouTube gurus and other makeup pros to help us with our beauty problems through Skype. Watch the video above to see this editor make a fool of himself in front of two professional makeup artists, both of whom did a smoky eye in under 30 seconds.
