As part of the luxury designer e-commerce site, Net-A-Porter, men's style site Mr. Porter has just launched to provide a complete style experience that goes much further than suits, oxfords, and cuff links. The site not only offers brands such as Burberry, YSL, John Lobb and Rag & Bone, but also includes a fashion blog, a style guide and how-to manuals for the man who enjoys the finer things in life (and admittedly, for a the woman who enjoys a man who enjoys the finer things in life). The very first edition is already a winner with a feature on musician Robert Plant, interior design and inspiration from the founder of The Bathing Ape, a look at the like-father-like-son "style gene," and a handy step-by-step guide to shucking an oyster. However, our favorite part of Mr. Porter is the Stylepedia glossary that covers everything from Alexander McQueen to zippers.
