NYC Resto The Meatball Shop Pops Up In Oakland

main
When we find ourselves in NYC, there’s always one task we must complete before departing. And that’s chowing down at the cult-followed, LES resto The Meatball Shop. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it. So, we were pretty psyched when we found out that Kyle Itani, one of the guys behind the famed spot, relocated and is now helming Oakland’s tasty new resto, Hopscotch.
And to make matters even more appetizing, we got word that The Meatball Shop is hosting a one-night-only pop-up at the East Bay joint — saving us the trip to NYC. Fellow chefs Daniel Holzman and Michael Chernow (along with Itani) are offering up the delicious fare from The Meatball Shop and you’d better believe we’re all over it. The event begins this evening and lasts until last meatball standing. Don’t miss this savory soiree, trust us, you’re guaranteed to have a meatball.

When: Monday, December 3, 5 p.m.

Where: Hopscotch, 1915 San Pablo Avenue (between William and 19th streets), Oakland; 510-788-6217.
