Interesting that in a time when magazines are continuing to fold, some rags are willing to give it a go. LOVE, WAR, and now the newly-launched M magazine fall into that latter category. M is the spin-off of French newspaper Le Monde, and is set to be their lifestyle/picture-pretty compliment. Think of it as the French version of New York Times' T. Nonetheless, their debut issue featured plenty of fashion ops, including this knock-out black-and-white spread featuring some of our favorite faces (Tanya, Denisa, Daiane, and Vlada). We'll need to see more to make our judgment call on whether this can trump T's sophisticated cool, but all those bodysuits and fringe? Looks promising, at least. (Fashionologie)
