Legendary L.A. Tattoo Artist Mark Mahoney Stars In YSL Short Film

With Louis Vuitton collaborating with NYC's Scott Campbell and Chanel's super-popular temporary tattoos making a stylish splash this spring, we don't think fashion's love affair with body art is going anywhere soon. But Yves Saint Laurent is upping the ante, and has commissioned photographer, filmmaker, and Whitney Biennial artist Ari Marcopoulos to create a short film, entitled No Way Back. The film, which debuted in conjunction with the YSL Men's spring/summer 2011 show in Paris yesterday, features legendary tattoo artist Mark Mahoney of Los Angeles' Shamrock Social Club.
