It Girls…and the Campaigns of Tomorrow

chiara_clemente_nytimesDon't say It girls have never done anything. They fascinate us, and that's why they've been recently favored over models and actresses in major ad campaigns. With Fashionista reporting Nina and Chiara Clemente, the stylist/filmmaker daughters of painter Francesco Clemente, will be featured in the Holiday Gap ads, we were inspired to come up with our own campaign suggestions for four emerging It girls.
Jen Brill: The Limited
Everyone's favorite raven-haired lookbook muse could lend her exotic, sexy '70s style to this nationwide incubator of every-girl fashion musts.
Jane Aldridge:Nine West
Who better than this 16-year-old blogger to infuse a fresh fetish for footwear. If she designed a line for Nine West, we'd buy 'em.
Louise Ebel: Bebe
We'd love to see those fun party dresses styled with our favorite Sorbonne art history student's black glasses and leather jacket. Still all the glam, but with a touch of Parisian rocker geek-chic.
Zoe Kravitz: Miu Miu. Or Dolce & Gabbana. Or Marc By Marc.
Somebody…get this girl a contract!
