GQ Rocks Out With Suited-Up Music Acts

ny-rock-the-suit-1
We see our fair share of Wall Street financiers dolled-up in pressed suits and generic button-downs during our morning commute on the downtown six train, and dude—it's a yawn fest. So you can only imagine how excited we get when we see a dashing man who dares to pull off something like a plaid piece. GQ must have heard our pleas when they created this Rock the Suit editorial with some of our fave men from NYC bands like MGMT, The National, The Walkmen, and The Drums, who demonstrate how to do erratically striped and brightly colored three-piece outfits the right way. Just add a guitar, thick-rimmed specs, and a pop of color here and there to get ready for your performance. (GQ)
