Tie-dye Gives Holiday Legs a Fun New Look

Cold weather hoisery has come a long way from its standard options of black and brown. Thankfully, last winter, we started to see those dark basic tights get ripped up a bit along with a welcome influx of bright monochrome colors, ombre, two tones, and major lace. This winter, however, the latest leggy style we've taking a liking to is tie-dye. Just as we fell in love with Burberry's take for pre-fall, this fresh-looking leg pattern taps into the latest '60s-inspired revival.
The trick with getting this look just right? Pairing the wild patterns with a simple black dress or other monochrome look. The movement toward statement tights make sense—it's an easy way to try out a trend without having to plunk down a whole lot of cash on an investment piece. Whether dipping into bright colors or keeping a neutral palette, check out some of the examples we found in L.A., Australia, and Sweden to inspire your own DIY pair, or purchase some now from We Love Colors or Revolve.
