Karl Lagerfeld's own line may not be as instantly revered or publicized as his work for Chanel or Fendi, but the Kaiser did not disappoint with a spring '09 ad campaign as moody as the clothes, and which he shot himself. Karl had said that he based the line off the clothes that he'd wear if he were a woman, which translates to plenty of sharp, lean silhouettes for blazers and skirts.
