Like you, we're a bit bitter about shoving those summer dresses to the back of the closet. But, maybe we don't have to — at least, not just yet. A Chicago Blogger Network pick, The super-cute blog Sunny + Turquoise (named after blogger Lacey's favorite things) demonstrates how you can extend the life of your light summer frocks with the addition of one fall essential: the oversized sweater.
Just check out this cute example. The lovely blogger took a green, sleeveless dress and paired it with a bulky, purple topper. Swap out sandals for a cute pair of pumps (love the leopard stems she's rockin'), and you're good to go! We suggest adding a pair of tights if it gets too brisk. Lacey wore this ensemble to work, but if your office is not that liberal, then we say it's perfect for date night or a Champers-infused brunch.
