If you find yourself in Marin tonight (or can make the short journey over the bridge), we’ve got a great event for you! Berkeley-based designer Erica Tanov is celebrating her book 20 Years, 20 Slips at her newest shop in the revamped Marin Country Mart in Larkspur. In addition to eats by Beth Wells of Chez Panisse and wine by Kermit Lynch, Tanov will be on hand to sign copies of her limited-edition tome, which celebrates her signature, two decade-old Lola slip with a photo portfolio shot by Katy Grannan featuring former S.F. Ballet principal ballerina Muriel Maffre dancing in the slip’s many incarnations, along with illustrations by John McNeil Studio. Only 200 copies of the elaborate book were printed, so act fast!
