Chicago just got a brand-spankin'-new Church's — and no, we're not talking about the chicken place, as tasty as that may be. Brit import Church's shoes just opened on Walton Street, bringing its celebrated footwear to the heart of the Gold Coast. And by celebrated, we mean a brand that's been around since 1873 and has stores everywhere in the world from Austria to France to Spain. And while you've been able to score a pair of these sharp stunners in luxe stores like Barneys or Bloomie's, that's nothing compared to the full-service brick-and-mortar operation.
The Chicago store, as you would expect, is like a shiny, new car — except this ride was designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi and features a Saint Laurent marble floor, rich oakwood furniture, and plenty of mirrors to check out your soon-to-be purchased Constance black polished Fume kicks. Added bonus? The store has a well-stocked inventory of men's merchandise, too, so there's no reason to leave your S.O. at home when shopping for your new fall footwear.
