3 Steps To Dressing Like A Brooklyn Girl

If it was an independent city, Brooklyn would be the fourth largest in the United States, and for any place that big, making broad generalizations about how its residents dress is like trying to accurately describe what you saw during Fashion Week in one word. But, even if you can't precisely describe it, you can always recognize it. It's easy and practical, but devastatingly stylish; in short, they're the outfits your girl crushes probably sport.
Speaking of girl crushes, one of Joanna Goddard's — Gaby Cetrulo — showed off three of her favorite fall outfits on Cup of Jo. Using classic pieces you probably already own, Gaby shows off three very different get-ups that are all no-fuss, no-brainer, no-BS combinations. And, they're not only flattering, but also comfortable. Says Gaby of her mustard sweater and shirtdress: "My fall uniform usually includes a loose sweater; I like feeling comfortable. Even though I'm small, I typically avoid heels in favor of Vans or Converse. I'm always running around, and heels don't last very long on NYC concrete."
