If you think needlepoint and lacework is strictly grandmotherly territory, think again. For her new show, "Still," Brooklyn-based artist Amelia Bauer is revitalizing the old timer's hobby by re-creating explosive scenes from action movies like Die Hard, Watchmen, and Blood Diamond on cozy home goods like pillows and doilies. We're loving the idea of splashing an image of fireballing vehicle onto a throw pillow, but Bauer's spot-on knitwork is what makes this project truly awesome.
