Britney Spears Channels Her Inner Mermaid At The Teen Choice Awards

At 33, Britney Spears may no longer be a teen pop sensation. But that didn't prevent her from taking home the metaphorical gold at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards. The "Work Bitch" singer snagged the surfboard for Choice Style Icon, and she was certainly dressed for the occasion, in a glittery silver high-low gown. Her pastel tresses may have been the most impressive part of this evening's look, as Spears definitely was channeling her inner mermaid. One thing bears mentioning, though: The singer has been a Candies ambassador in the past, so the fact that she won an award brought to you by that brand comes off a touch unsavory. That aside, it's good to see Brit back in the limelight for something other than a rumored feud with Iggy Azalea. Girlfriend has so much more to offer this world than shade. Like, for example, her mad yoga skills — color us impressed.
