It's hard to toss out a phrase like "Video of the Year" right now without making waves, so we won't. We will, however, point out that Demi Lovato's new video is definitely a contender for our favorite jam of the summer.
The song may be called "Cool for the Summer," but the look is hot, hot, hot. The former Disney star generates major heat via damp, slicked-back locks and a leather bodysuit paired with laced-up stockings. Crank up the AC, please.
Anyone who loved Camp Rock might have trouble witnessing Lovato go full-on sexpot. Here she writhes on a bed, hits a rave in a cutout bra, and seductively preens for the camera. Side note: Anyone know where can we get a neon bouncy castle of our own?
Lovato's battled some major demons, so it's good to see her embracing her curves and letting her confidence loose. Of course, we'd be just as happy if she rocked up in a pair of sweats. What, not summer enough?
