Ed Sheeran Says Taylor Swift Is “Too Tall” To Date

Don't you love it when a guy explains why he wouldn't date a woman who isn't single anyway? At least this time, Ed Sheeran has the decency to be suitably self-deprecating while giving pal Taylor Swift the Heisman. In an interview with Power 105.1 (watch below), the red-haired crooner explained that he and Swifty are just pals, and, yes, her height is partly to blame. "I feel like we look like cast members of The Hobbit," he cracked. "She's like in the elven kingdom. She's hanging out with Galadriel and stuff, and I've got hairy feet." We think that's meant to be a compliment. For the record, Sheeran said that he and the pop star have never "smashed." Considering she's dating his friend Calvin Harris, that's probably for the best. "I think it's healthy to have female friends that you don't smash," he added. Quite right. But we might start up some Taylor-Ed fan-fiction anyway just for fun. (People)
