The First Look At Kendall And Kylie’s Topshop Line Reveals A Lot

Considering the near-constant buzz of Kardashian news on the Internet, the buildup to Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s new Topshop line has been relatively tame. After the company announced that it had tapped the sisters (and teen moguls in their own right) to design a collection back in February, we didn't hear much about their progress. But, clearly, this is all part of a thoroughly plotted game plan, because just yesterday the girls revealed the very first sneak peeks on — where else? — their own branded Kendall + Kylie Instagram account. Judging from the handful of photos they've released so far, we can expect plenty of pieces riffing on the sisters' own West Coast style. For instance, there's a design sketch that shows two models, one wearing a cropped, lace-up bustier and another in a halter crop top with some serious underboob. The latter is nearly identical to the one that Kendall famously wore to Easter Mass this year, which confirms our predictions that the collection will be a greatest-hits recap of the girls' most Insta-worthy looks. In other words: '90s-inspired dresses, stomach-baring blouses, and not much fabric in general. The other photo appears to show Kendall and Kylie choosing between various outfits on the linesheet. They're not actually designing the pieces themselves (they're not Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen quite yet), but they are giving each outfit their stamp of approval. It's not a groundbreaking idea, by any means, but when you have millions of fans just waiting to scoop up replicas of your daily looks, it's definitely a smart one. Watch the teaser video of Kendall + Kylie At Topshop below, and see the collection for yourself when it hits stores and online June 3.
