Users will now be able to interact with a notification directly when it appears on the locked screen instead of having to open up the app that it originates from.

As the most used app on iOS, Messages is being upgraded in a big way, with the addition of audio and video messages, self-destructing messages, and location sharing, and the ability to remove yourself from group-message threads.
3. Photo Editing Will Be Easier.
The new Photos app will now allow you to sync your photos to your other devices, along with any edits you make to them.
4. Look, Siri — No Hands!
Thanks to Shazam's technology, Siri will now be able to identify any song within appropriate range without you having to pick up your device. That's right: You can now call Siri simply by saying, "Hey, Siri," which sets it into action.
5. It's A Family Affair.
If your clan is made up of Apple junkies, you can now share iTunes purchases across all your devices, as well as calendars, reminders, and photos. Just try to keep the racy selfies to a minimum. (Mashable)
