London Tube Map Gets Fashion Makeover

Let's face it. Riding the tube isn't the most glamorous thing in the world, unless random mice sightings, streaky black fingers from touching escalators, and nestling underneath a stranger's armpit count as thrills. Even the station names are a bit dreary. Cockfosters? Moorgate? Sigh.
Enter German fashion site Stylight, which has given the London Tube map a high-fashion makeover thanks to names like eBayswater, Vivienne Westminster, and Balmansion House. Green Park is now Agyness Deyn Park, Temple is Temperley, and Farringdon is Faux Furringdon. Get it?
"The London Underground can be a difficult thing to navigate when you're wearing six-inch heels and sunglasses, so we've broken it down into something more manageable," Stylight says. Is the style-savvy map likely to catch on? Probably not. Will Knightsbridge forever be Sam McKnightsbridge in our minds now? You bet. (Telegraph)
