We're all about the pomp and circumstance of Fashion Week, but even we'll admit the more, uh, theatrical makeup looks aren't exactly realistic for our day-to-day. So, we were pleasantly surprised to find that when we surveyed the beauty scene at Paris Fashion Week, the trends that emerged were totally do-able.
As evidenced by this bold liner look at Kenzo, we're thrilled to report the cat-eye is back with a serious vengeance. From Dior to Gaultier, PFW introduced us to a whole new breed of feline flick that's colorful and anything but subdued. Not to mention the variety — who knew this classic technique had so many different application possibilities?

The other trend we saw time and time again? The au naturel look. Seemingly (we know your tricks, makeup artists) barefaced models hit the runways at Celine, Chloe, Balmain, Isabel Marant...the list goes on.
So, what does this all mean for us non-Paris-runway-walking common folk? The story for fall looks to be either barefaced or cat-eyed — or better yet, both. And, we're not complaining: Our five-minute face and signature liner move never looked better.
