Collaboration is the name of the game these days, and in the interest of exploring that very concept, hotelier Ian Schrager and NOWNESS have paired up to create a series of short films — with the help of a few creative friends. Roping in Tracey Emin, Solange Knowles, Amanda Harlech, and J.W. Anderson to namedrop just a few, the video series celebrates the launch of the new London hotel, the London Edition, which is set to open in September.
The first of the films, released today, features Vogue Italia’s Franca Sozzani and world-famous fashion photogher, Miles Aldridge. Speaking about working together, Aldridge recalls of Sozzani, “I remember seeing her at one of the runway shows and thinking she looked like a beautiful character from a Fellini or a Visconti film.” With the rest of the films rolling out this month and then in the autumn, there's a lot of excitement ahead.
