When we caught wind that Lake Bell was writing, directing, and starring in a comedy about voice-overs, we were intrigued. Now that the trailer for In A World... is out, we are hands down, completely, and absolutely onboard with it.
The story revolves around Bell's protagonist dreams of following in her father's footsteps and becoming the next big movie trailer narrator. Random, perhaps, but it totally works. Bell's childhood dream was to narrate trailers, and here she is making a film about it. Anyway, In A World... looks, in one word, hilarious. Okay, two words: heartwarmingly hilarious. With a solid cast of comedians like Demetri Martin and a beardless Nick Offerman supporting Bell, this flick is going to be our breath of fresh air with all the heavy-handed action blockbusters hitting the silver screen this summer.
