Sunday Plans That May Not Include Dad (He’ll Understand!)

2
Yes, you should definitely be thinking about what to do for pop this Sunday (read: Father's Day!). But after what may be a boozy brunch, we suggest you stop by one of our new fave salons, Smith & Davis, for its first annual summer bazaar event.
Over a dozen local vendors will be showcasing their wares, including Real Soaps, Bird Trouble Repurposed Bags and Accessories (pictured), Pierogi Picnic Repurposed Fashion, Wanderlustings Jewelry Design, and more. And considering you are in a salon, there will be a braiding station and owner Stevie Smith will be offering complimentary styling lessons!

And if you do end up bringing dad, get the man a handmade sno-cone. All of the proceeds will go to Smiles For Life, a charity that helps little tots get dental care — hmm...isn't that ironic?
The summer bazaar event will take place between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 16.
Smith & Davis Salon, 735 West Wrightwood Avenue (between Burling and Halsted streets); 773-697-4206.
