We've often associated the Fanning sisters with Miu Miu and Comme Des Garçons, but the pair stepped out in custom Rodarte at the Met Ball last week, posing with the Mulleavy sisters and working it as always. Wouldn't you know, days later, the foursome's photos inspired rumors of a possible design collaboration — fueled by the Daily Mail's alleged "fashion mole" (where can we get one of those?).
A custom gown is often the beginning of a larger partnership, be it formal or informal, but the source says the girls have been "very hands-on" in the design process for an as-yet-undefined partnership, which could be anything from a brief design stint to capsule collection.
