There is nothing we love more then watching our favorite movie while chowing down on the food that makes our hearts sing. And now, we can experience both pleasures outside the confines of our living room, thanks to the Charlotte Street Hotel Food & Film night.
The concept is ingenious. A food expert picks their favorite foodie movie of all time and you get to watch it in the hotel’s sumptuous screening room. There is a book signing and live Q&A after the show, followed by a delicious three-course meal in the hotel’s restaurant. A slight step above our mac-'n'-cheese and The Goonies re-run evenings.

The first event takes place on April 29 and will be curated by the Food Network's Jonathan Phang, who has chosen What’s Cooking as his favorite movie and explains his choice, “I’m thrilled to be sharing this film with anyone who hasn’t had the joy of seeing it before! It’s all about food and family – two vital ingredients for me – and also different cultures and backgrounds coming together for a Thanksgiving celebration. You can’t help but feel moved by it and also quite hungry with all the mouth-watering dishes on display.”
