Seeing Michelle Obama in a stunning Jason Wu dress is no surprise — the designer is one of her go-tos for big events. But we've yet to see her wear his diffusion line, until now. The FLOTUS wore Miss Wu by Jason Wu on the campaign trail yesterday, before changing into a deep blue skirt suit from Preen, for the presidential debate last night.
The dress is a youthful and sweet light green gingham number, with Wu's always-expert tailoring making the First Lady look gorgeous as ever (not that that's hard to do). But since the line doesn't actually hit stores until next year (Nordstrom will welcome the lower-priced line January 7, 2013), the First Lady is actually the first person to be photographed wearing it. Pretty cool, no?

As the race heats up this month, we're psyched to see what Michelle will come up with — not to mention what her husband and Governor Romney have to say (not a side note by any means, but hey, we're a fashion site!). (The Daily Beast)
