Which comes first: fashion or fundraising? Judging by the Instagram photo that designer Clare Vivier posted of Michelle Obama and Gwen Stefani yesterday, the two get equal billing. The singer/designer/general creative force hosted a fundraising event in the First Lady's honor at her Beverly Hills home earlier this week, and it might as well have included a catwalk.
The FLOTUS looked effortlessly chic in a classic LBD and flat sandals, while Gwen, true to form, opted for a shocking-pink jumpsuit and razor-sharp stilettos. We're digging the fact that both ladies dressed to express their own unique styles, and we have to admit: It takes some major sartorial gumption to wear a fuchsia jumpsuit to a political fundraiser.
