You could just take our word for it that there will be plenty of opportunities to hobnob with NYC's most influential professionals, but we're okay with name-dropping, too. The 2012 Host Committee includes the editor-in-chief of Scene magazine, Peter Davis, Marie Claire's Abby Gardner, SoulCycle's Nick Oram, Studio PR president Helena Krodel Wegweiser, one of our favorite designers, Timo Weiland — and R29's own senior editor Kristian Laliberte.
Don't worry, we've got more. This year's Benefit Committee boasts beauty and fashion industry leaders, including representatives from Clarins,Givenchy and Dior, Have to Have founders Carla Holtze & Kimberly Skelton, and premiere NYC stylist Chris Lospalluto. With all that, plus socialites like Emma Snowdon-Jones thrown in the mix, it's an aspiring young professional's (and people watcher's) dream.
This After Dark soiree certainly has our seal of approval. For tickets, or to donate, visit the DreamBall site and kiss the idea of being all dressed up and nowhere to go goodbye.
When: Thursday, September 27, from 9:30 pm to midnight.
Where: Cipriani, 110 East 42nd Street (at Park Avenue); 212-237-3896.
