Shake ups are continuing at Barneys New York, as author and advertising maven Amanda Brooks will be heading up the role of the Women's Fashion Director, Vice President. The reshuffling of the storied retailer started in November when Gucci's Daniella Vitale came in as Executive Vice-President, and rumors even swirled that she'd bring on Vogue's Virginia Smith. Instead, Vitale chose Brooks, who wrote cult fashion guide book, I Love Your Style . She's most definitely a well-heeled and refined choice—she graduated from society mainstays like Horace Mann and Brown, did time at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, and served as creative director of the now-defunct, Upper-East chic Tuleh label. Congratulations, Amanda! No word yet on whether her equally fabulous friend, Lauren Santo Domingo, will have a consulting role. Please?!
