Even the most devoted of Harry Potter fans wouldn't want to live the boy wizard's entire life. Yes, they're willing to drop a serious amount of cash to experience a night in the great hall, but no one is clamoring to experience HP's childhood bedroom. However, Alex Lomax, a young woman trying to find an affordable room in London, was offered that very condition. In September, Lomax tweeted photos of a bed under the stairs, explaining she had just been shown the overly cozy space.

The listing for the room in West London reads, "1 single furnished room available. We are looking for a friendly, open-minded and outgoing person to join our houseshare in a great period house in Clapham. We’re a good bunch and like to chill out a lot together – not really looking for somebody that just wants to stay in their room. Room comes with a bed. Bills to be shared – approx. £60 per month each."
Though the ad says a renter would only have to pay £60 a month for the cramped closet-like space, the living arrangement still seems less than ideal. No mention on whether roommates will jump on the stairs and yell your name as a wake-up call.
