Over in Merry Olde England, the Queen just became the U.K.'s longest-reigning monarch, Princess Charlotte has been deemed worth $5 billion, and Kate Middleton went and got a haircut.

Whether the fringe is here to stay or already headed to Bobby Pinsville, it's nice to see the fashion plate dabbling in fresh styles. Today, some shorter layers; tomorrow a lob, perhaps?
Perhaps not. While we don't see K-Middy going bronde or super-short anytime soon — and with those lovely chestnut locks, why would she? — her new bangs do have potential. Tease the hair at the crown, pin it back, and you've got a Brigitte Bardot thing happening. The Queen won't know what hit her.
