Rosie O’Donnell Responds To The Dumbest #BlackLivesMatter Question

Rosie O'Donnell has been handling bigots left and right as of late. But her most recent response to an ignorant comment about the Black Lives Matter movement might just take the cake. Monday on Fox & Friends, host Elisabeth Hasselbeck was chatting with Kevin Jackson of The Blacksphere, who described the Black Lives Matter movement as "nonsense" and said that it would surely "backfire" at some point down the line. Hasselbeck then asked Jackson why Black Lives Matter participants as a whole haven't been classified as a "hate group," wondering aloud how much more has to go in "this direction" before it's labeled as such. The direction, in this case, amounts to demanding equal treatment under the law and assembling on behalf of their cause, as is their right guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. As for labeling Black Lives Matter participants as a hate group, it's impossible to truly understand what goes on in the mind of Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Lest we forget, this is the woman who once asked a National Institutes of Health doctor if we should "seal the borders" to keep out Ebola. Jackson parroted several conservative-leaning ideals back at Hasselbeck, which pretty much amounted to how the left is behind the movement, and that Black Lives Matter distracts from what could really help Black Americans. Which is according to Jackson, "whole families" and clergy members who were willing to support "real issues." (What?) But it was Rosie O'Donnell who had the last words. "Some r slow 2 wake," she quipped on Twitter. Amen to that, sister.
