The Truth About Rory’s Gilmore Girls Proposal

Matt Czuchry can certainly take rejection like a champ. Though his Gilmore Girls character, Logan, didn't get the girl — the girl in this case being college sweetheart Rory Gilmore — Czuchry wouldn't have it any other way.  In his Reddit AMA on Monday, the actor admitted that he was happy with the way Logan's proposal to Rory went down in the show's penultimate episode. (In case you've forgotten, Rory passed.) "I feel that the show is about two strong independent women, and that refusal captures the heart of the show," the Good Wife star said, Us Weekly reports. "And I don't think it was personal to Logan. I just think it was the right decision for Rory regardless of who her boyfriend was."  He also explained the motivation for Logan's kinda-jerky ultimatum.  "Logan was always about grand gestures and being impulsive," Czuchry said. "That was one of his strengths (and weaknesses, at the same time)." The good news is that he'll be involved in the Gilmore Girls reunion this June. Have faith, RoLo 'shippers.
