Update: Sadly, we were misled by "little brown bag" note. Sarah Jessica Parker was referencing her upcoming collection launch at Bloomingdales: Our hearts were hopeful for a new SACT film, but we're going to have to make do with new shoes instead. That's what Carrie would have wanted.

Sarah Jessica Parker better not be toying with us. The actress stepped out with a Bloomies bag in an Instagram post early today and shared what appears to be a clear sign that Sex and the City 3 is definitely happening. Like, now.
“Well. I guess the cat’s out of the (little brown) bag,” Parker captioned the photo. “As usual, we will keep you posted on every detail as we are able. I’m under a strict gag order until then. Xx, Sj.” The actress is channeling a very Carrie vibe in the shot, which features her mid-skip (take a look at the sidewalk shadows, she’s pretty much floating) in gold low-heeled shoes and a pristine white dress. (You'd have to be someone who never takes the subway to keep that ensemble clean — good thing Carrie has Big money these days.)

We’re trying not to get overly enthusiastic about SATC returning to the silver screen, but that’s proving to be pretty difficult thanks to this not-so-vague teaser. We've been burned before by rumors of the iconic show staging a big-screen return. But, the heart wants what it wants, so we're already plotting what to wear to the premiere.
It’s also exciting to think that a new installment will actually take place in familiar stomping grounds. Our last interaction with Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte mostly took place overseas. Is it really Sex and the City if it’s not set in the Big Apple?
If SATC 3 really is on, we'd like to be the first ones to say: It's good to have you home, ladies!
