Jennifer Lawrence Is Looking Very Malibu Barbie Right Now

Once an Abercrombie girl, always an Abercrombie girl. Ahead of tonight's Met Gala, for which she will be acting as a co-chair, Jennifer Lawrence is flirting a beauty look that harks back to her days as a teen model. Last time we saw J Lawr out and about, she had a honey-hued bob. Now, she's rocking wavy platinum hair extensions and a deep tan. Icy pink lipstick completes the just-came-from-the-mall effect. Given the theme for tonight's event is China: Through The Looking Glass, we're expecting the Oscar winner to ditch the Malibu Barbie look in favor of a sleek updo and a Dior gown. Is this California girl get-up designed to throw us off the scent? Or, is there some interpretation of Chinese-inspired fashion we're just not getting? Either way, we're kind of loving this (probably brief) makeover. It may not be what you'd expect from a Dior campaign star, but it's so, so J Lawr.
