When Hillary Clinton was caught on camera
ordering lunch at an Ohio Chipotle, reporters were quick to cover every angle of the grainy stills’ possible meaning. It’s going to be a long, wonky road to November 2016, but only one day after officially launching her campaign, Clinton has already given us her entry in what has turned into an election-season tradition: photos of candidates chowing down on fast food.
It’s not a new one, either: Ronald Reagan
and prospective First Gentleman Bill Clinton
both had famously well-documented junk food habits. This won’t be the last time we see pictures of Hillary eating or drinking like a “real American.” But, it’s a good time to revisit some classic examples from past campaigns.
