Sienna Miller’s 2-Year-Old Daughter Makes Her Vogue Debut

Sienna Miller is Vogue’s January cover girl, officially marking her fourth time fronting the magazine and probably setting some sort of record. (Oh. Guess not.) Whether she’s channeling Edie Sedgwick in bright yellow (’06), sporting a topknot and dark brows (’07), or in a one-shouldered gown and side part ('09), the actress always brings her signature British cool to the glossy, often by way of a tilted hat or breezy, bohemian dress. The January 2015 issue is no different in that regard, but one piece of this spread is entirely new: Sienna's daughter, Marlowe. The 2-year-old, whose father is Miller’s fiancé, Tom Sturridge, makes her print debut in the country-themed spread shot by Mario Testino.
While her mom is lounging in Valentino dresses, Gucci jackets, and high-waisted Prada boy shorts, Marlowe (that's Marlowe Ottoline Layng Sturridge, to you) is dressed in adorable and very everyday toddler pieces, like a pink ballerina tutu. Miller credits her little one for keeping her family down to earth. As she told Vogue, “We go to the country. I like to cook and go to Whole Foods. I have a dog — a Newfoundland, not a dog but a bear — who when I walk pulls me over flat on my face into the mud. My baby pukes on me. It’s life. It’s very much a normal life.” While we're not entirely sure about that last part, it's refreshing to see a cover star enjoy playing dress-up with her kiddo. See more of the spread in the slides ahead and on Vogue.com.
